Black Excellence: Stephanie Terry
Mayor Stephanie Terry, the 35th Mayor of Evansville, is the first woman and the first African American to serve in this position. Prior to being elected Mayor, Terry served on the Vanderburgh County Council and was the Executive Director of the Louis J. Koch Family Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe). Born and raised in Evansville, Mayor Terry is a proud graduate of Bosse High School and feels extremely blessed to lead the city that she loves. Mayor Terry and her administration aim to truly make Evansville a city that works for everyone.
