PEER Ambassador, Dani Bosono, speaks up about School Funding
At at Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) listening session held last week at Greenfield High School, CTC PEER Ambassador and Family Center Policy Council member Daniana Bisono, spoke passionately about the importance of adequate funding for students with special needs. As one of only two people who spoke from the perspective of a parent, Dani humanized the discussion, centering the needs of her child and other children with special needs and bringing the discussion beyond numbers and dollar figures. PEER Ambassador Jenna Weld was also present and shared written testimony with the commission. We are so proud of our PEER Ambassadors, and grateful to our legislative delegation for bringing this listening session to Greenfield.
