What we do

The Youth Leadership Initiative is coordinated by Community Action Youth Programs with the aim of building youth leadership in the community and engaging young people directly in the work of the Coalition.

The Youth Council brings together youth and young adults from across Community Action Pioneer Valley’s Youth and Workforce Development Programs and partners to identify issues they want to work on to improve the experiences of youth and young adults on individual, program, and community levels. Participants will learn strategies for change and advocacy, and evaluate programs for success. This program is open to participants in Franklin/Hampshire Counties and the North Quabbin, ages 14-24.
